Jordan is to receive a $50 million loan from the World Bank to develop its healthcare sector. The money will be divided between the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services and Jordan University Hospital, according to MEED. A $300 million plan to expand the sector up to 2020 has been drawn up, says Health Minister Ashraf Kurdi, which includes the construction of new hospitals and health centres.
