The FDA has cleared for US sale a new ultrasound-based monitoring system for monitoring blood flow in the aorta of critically ill patients. Designed to be used with ECG and blood pressure monitoring to assess overall heart output, the Dynemo 3000 is already cleared for sale in Europe and Japan.
