Oncor and BD Microbiology Systems, a division of Becton Dickinson, have signed a licence agreement for Oncor's Sunrise Detection System which uses closed-tube amplification technology. Under the agreement Oncor, which is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, will receive licence fees, royalties, milestone payments and sponsored research funding. BD Microbiology Systems will use the Sunrise technology in future diagnostic tests alongside its Strand Displacement Amplification technology.
