Bio-Link Sendiram Berhad, Trinity Biotech's Malaysian distributor, has won the Malaysian government tender to supply the Uni-Gold HIV rapid test. The whole-blood, ten-minute test will be used as part of that country's screening programme. At the same time, Dublin-based Trinity has launched its H pylori test in the Uni-Gold series. The company has already begun shipping the product in Europe and is seeking FDA approval.
