Varian buys out Japanese oncology distributor:

Varian has bought its former Japanese oncology products distributor. The company will be merged into Varian's newly-formed oncology systems division, which itself is a subsidiary of Varian Japan. According to the company, the new arrangement will allow better integration of services with Varian's Nippon Oncology Systems, a joint venture with NEC Field Service in radiotherapy.
