Sofamor's sales and earnings soar by a third

Sofamor Danek had fourth-quarter revenues of $91 million, up from $70 million in the same quarter the previous year. The company saw US revenues increase 33% to $61 million, while non-US revenue went up 24% to $30 million. Sofamor Danek's operating income in the period rose 35%, to $25 million, while pre-tax earnings also rose by 32%, quarter on quarter.
