The Health Industry Manufacturers Association plans to open an office in Tokyo by April. The US industry group is currently in the process of hiring a representative to run the new Japanese office. It is also reviewing the future of its Asia regional office in Singapore and may decide to move it to Hong Kong in the autumn, says HIMA's executive vice-president, Ed Rozynski.
