Imaging Diagnostics Systems and Imation have agreed an OEM purchase agreement so that IDS can market its laser mammography device with Imation's dry film technology. Imation is developing a femto-second pulsed titanium sapphire laser with computer assistance, which it is claimed improves early detection, reduces the need for biopsy and does not require breast compression.
