Executive Summary
Participants in Genetics Institute's DiscoverEase programme - a library of secreted proteins and genes - are to have access to Affymetrix's GeneChip technology for expression analysis under a three-year agreement. Under the deal, GI will also build, and sell access to, a database of gene expression patterns to users of DiscoverEase. The two companies also announced the successful completion of a three-year collaboration using DNA chips for high-throughput gene expression monitoring.
