UL International (UK) has stated an interest in becoming a UK notified body under the In Vitro Diagnostic Directive, which comes into force next June. The company, of Guildford, Surrey, joins AMTAC Certification Services, BSI, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, SGS Yarsley International Certification Services and United Registrar of Systems, according to the UK Medical Devices Agency.
