Agfa-Gevaert it is launching its HD mammography system, which consists of new screens offering better sharpness and resolution at low noise levels and low patient dose. The HD mammography screens are designed to be used in conjunction with Agfa's recently introduced HDR-C film which, the company claims, can resolve microcalcifications as well as providing diagnostically significant information in dense tissue.
