E-Z-EM's wholly owned subsidiary AngioDynamics is to launch its VISTAFLEX platinum biliary stent in the US this month. The Queensbury, New York-based company, which presented the product at the Radiological Society of North America meeting in Chicago last week, says the stent is a unique combination of visibility under fluoroscopy and flexibility. It is also the only available stent which is compatible with magnetic resonance angiography, AngioDynamics says.
