The German medical device industry association, BVMed, is continuing its campaign against the reprocessing of single-use medical devices through "Re-Use News", a new publication which provides information on developments and scientific findings from Germany and other countries. BVMed has also established an Internet page on re-use topics - http://www.bvmed.de/reuse.htm . The association began taking action against the multiple use of single-use medical devices in spring this year, distributing information flyers to all 2,300 German hospitals and other authoritative bodies.
