Anglo-Norwegian diagnostic company Axis-Shield has taken the unusual decision to buy a distributor. Recently-merged Axis-Shield will pay £4.5 million ($7.2 million) in shares to buy Medinor, a Norwegian distributor of doctors' office and laboratory products.
