Hewlett-Packard defibrillator falls foul of UK power and receives hazard hazard warning

The UK's Medical Devices Agency has issued a hazard warning notice to Hewlett-Packard over two of its best-selling defibrillators, the CodeMaster XE and the CodeMaster XL+ defibrillator/monitor. The MDA would not comment on what the nature of the fault was. However, the company says it has identified the failure of the device as traceable back to the unstable voltage in the UK power supply.
