Canadians on dialysis increase as queues for transplants grow

The number of patients on dialysis in Canada has risen substantially in recent years, with elderly patients accounting for most of the increase. At the same time, waiting lists for organ transplantation continue to grow, according to a report from by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).
