EUCOMED (European Confederation of Medical Device Suppliers association) appeals to companies to shun supplementary quality marks and stick with the CE mark

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

The controversy surrounding TUV Product Service's quality mark for medical devices in Europe shows no sign of abating. The European confederation of device industry associations, EUCOMED, has now written to its members urging them "not to use such misleading quality marks nor to represent them as being in some way 'superior' to the CE marking".
