Biocompatibles plans to raise around £18 million ($29 million) in an offering of 22 million new ordinary shares. The Farnham, UK-based company has also formed an exclusive Japanese distribution agreement for its BiodivYsio stents with Japan Life Line, a cardiovascular products distributor. Japan Life Line will invest £1.25 million in the company and will fund and manage a clinical trial in Japan.
