Germany's BVMed refutes gloomy demand prognosis

The German medical device industry association, BVMed, has entered the debate generated by the gloomy investment report published by Prudential Securities which warned industry that demand would be hit by the proposed German healthcare reforms (see Clinica, No 860, pp 1-2). BVMed agrees with the US Health Industry Manufacturers Association that the conclusions of the report are "too dramatic".
