ArthroCare launches tissue removal wands:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

ArthroCare is launching two new arthroscopic surgical wands with suction to assist maceration and disposal of free-floating tissue. The Sunnyvale, California-based company says that the CoVac 70 and the TurboVac 90's suction feature increases the instruments' utility in both knee and shoulder operations. Its radiofrequency wands can now compete with traditional shavers which are used to remove free-floating tissue, the company says.
