Italy's Esaote sees foreign growth soar:

Esaote had a 77% increase in sales in the European market outside Italy last year, while growth in China exceeded 30%. The company had total sales of LIT343.9 billion ($194 million) - up just under 25%. The Italian company saw net profit rise by 47% to LIT25 billion. Sales in Europe were LIT205 billion and now represent 59% of the total. The company plans to launch two new ultrasound systems this year.
