Management Forum is organising two seminars in London sponsored by the Association of British Health-Care Industries. An Introduction to the Medical Device Industry, which takes place on April 12, will provide an overview of European medical device legislation and address issues including which devices are covered by the Medical Devices Directive, the role of notified bodies and the processes required to apply for a CE-mark. Conducting Clinical Trials for Medical Devices, which will be held on April 13-14, will discuss the role of clinical research in the development of medical devices, how to develop a clinical investigation plan, and how to prepare an investigator brochure.
