The US FDA has approved Boston Scientific's 9mm length NIR ON Ranger stent system for treating coronary artery disease. The over-the-wire product is available in diameters of 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0mm. It includes a distal dam for extra security and is mounted inside radiopaque marker bands for easier placement.
