Executive Summary
Disetronic has received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA to market its Multifuse peristaltic pump. The device is used mainly to administer analgesia, chemotherapy and antibiotics and provides physicians with a choice of applications in a single system, says the Burgdorf-based Swiss company. German company B Braun Melsungen, Disetronic's marketing partner for Multifuse, plans to launch the system in the US shortly.
