Finnish company Tamro MedLab has bought the business activities of Norwegian company DicoMed. Tamro gains ESC/Sharplan's surgical laser equipment, which Tamro markets in Finland. The company says the acquisition provides a basis for the further development of its healthcare equipment business in Norway. The new business' sales are expected to be around NOK15 million ($2 million) in 1999.
