CIVCO Medical Instruments, a manufacturer and distributor of customised accessory medical devices for the ultrasound industry, is to set up its first international office, in Brussels, Belgium. The new office, which is due to be opened this month, will be headed by Brad Dunlap, director of European business development. The Kalona, Iowa-based company's products include biopsy needle guidance systems and surgical transducer covers. CIVCO's customers include GE, Philips, Toshiba, Siemens and Hewlett-Packard.
