The Costa Rican Social Security Administration has awarded a $1 million tender to Trex Medical's Bennett division for the supply of mammography technology and an upgrade on stereotactic biopsy systems. The Danbury, Connecticut-based company will also provide a training programme. Separately, Bennett's Dutch representative, Odelft, has won a contract from the Romanian Ministry of Health for 25 radiographic systems. Bennett's 100 kHz high-frequency radiographic generators will be used exclusively with Odelft's chest units.
