Executive Summary
Ian Alexander is to become Elekta’s executive vice-president for the Asia Pacific region. He will assume the position on 1 May 2010 and will replace the outgoing Laurent Leksell, who held the job since December 2008. Mr Alexander has been a member of Elekta’s executive committee since 2008 and is currently also chief operating officer. Before joining Stockholm, Sweden-based Elekta, Mr Alexander held senior regional management positions at Bayer Diagnostics and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
