Italy's medical technology database and Repertorio device register (BD/RDM) has been upgraded, promising improvements to the system that enable users to directly amend or update details. The improvements took effect on 26 March, according to a note issued by the general directorate for medicines and medical devices. It highlights upgrades related specifically to the purchase of latex-free products and an extension of the "minimal" reporting format to assembled devices.
