Executive Summary
Anton Affentranger, currently CEO of Lombard Odier Group in Geneva, Switzerland, has been appointed chief financial officer of Roche. Mr Affentranger will replaces Henri Meier, who is retiring at the end of the year. Two further appointments to the executive committee include William Burns, who becomes head of Roche's pharmaceutical division in January and replaces Franz Humer, who will concentrate on his role as CEO of the Roche Group. Richard Laube will join the executive committee, with worldwide responsibility for Roche's OTC business.
