IntraLuminal Therapeutics has raised a total of $15.5 million in a round of financing to allow it to commercially launch Safe-Steer TO, its first-generation total occlusion crossing catheter system in Europe. It will also use the funds to expand development of the next generation catheter, while completing the clinical trial necessary for its US FDA 510(k)approval application. This has been delayed from its scheduled fourth quarter of 1999.
