Formerly, Dr Sachs was director of orthopaedic research, co-chief of the division of orthopaedics and associate medical director at the Albany medical center, in Albany, New York. Matthias Hornaus has been appointed general manager for all international activities except for the Americas and the Asian/Pacific markets. Hornaus joins from Sulzer SpineTech where he was vice-president of sales.
