Executive Summary
International Biotech, a Canadian HIV home test kit manufacturer, was briefly linked with Lignex, a waste paper conversion company,last week. Last Wednesday, a press release claimed that Toronto-based Lignex and Edmonton,Alberta-based International Biotech had signed an agreement for Lignex to acquire control. However, within hours this was denied. According to Lignex, a public relations company mistakenly put out a release without authorisation. Neither company would comment whether the deal would now go ahead.
