International Medical Innovations (IMI) plans to raise around $12 million through a private placement offering. Toronto, Ontario-based IMI will use the proceeds to support its application to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange and for development and commercialisation purposes. The company has a rapid non-invasive test for measuring skin cholesterol on the palm of the hand without a blood sample. It has also developed two tests for colorectal cancer and a test for determining kidney stone disease.
