Baxter International in the US has appointed Bruce Bentcover corporate vice-president and chief financial officer of its Edwards Lifesciences subsidiary, which is due to be spun off at the end of the month. Mr Bentcover was recently chief operating and financial officer of the Women's Healthcare Management Group, a company he co-founded. Bruce Garren is appointed as corporate vice-president, general counsel and secretary. Previously, he was senior vice-president, general counsel for Safeskin and vice-president, general counsel for Tambrands. Baxter named eight other corporate officers for Edwards Lifesciences, which will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange in April.
