ROTEC Medizintechnik of Neuremberg, Germany, has received US 510(k) approval for two of its modular revision hip implant systems. The first, MRP-Titan comprises titanium alloy for use in revision hip stem operations. The second is MRS-Titan, a cup implant system made completely of titanium implant materials for revision operations after two or more hip cup operations.
