Executive Summary
RITA Medical Systems, the Mountain View, California company that makes minimally invasive medical devices to treat tumours, has entered a co-promotion agreement with ultrasound imaging company Aloka. Both companies have comparable US sales teams of 25-30 professionals, and both consider the added exposure will prove mutually beneficial to business. RITA president and CEO Barry Cheskin says this is the first of potentially many similar deals. The Aloka deal is described by RITA as " a great strategic fit".
