Executive Summary
Analogic's subsidiary B-K Medical is to license the intellectual property of integrated 3D imaging technology from Life Imaging Systems, as well as buying the Canadian company's production resources for the technology. As a result, B-K will design, develop and manufacture its own 3D technology at its Copenhagen headquarters. Previously, it had bought 3D technology solutions from Life Imaging for use with its ultrasound systems. B-K says it will now be able to expand its 3D expertise in urology and anorectal applications, as well as other specialised areas.
