The German hospitals association (DKG) has reacted furiously to government suggestions that, if German relative weight calculations for all the DRGs (Diagnosis Related Groups) are not ready by 2003, it will consider adopting Australian relative calculations for those which were not transposed. Jorg Robbers, principal director of the DKG, said that his assoication had always and would continue to reject these proposals.
