Executive Summary

Siemens Medical Solutions last week announced the establishment of a strategic alliance with Ferris group subsidiary Reynolds Medical, to jointly develop diagnostic software equipment solutions for improving cardiology workflow. The first products from the partnership are already in development and should be available in mid-2002, Siegfried Russwurm, president of the group's electromedical systems division, told Clinica during the Medica trade fair in Dusseldorf last week.
