The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) has now been appointed as Ireland's competent authority for general medical devices and active implantable medical devices. In response to concerns from industry that there was a lack of information over the transfer of competent authority status from the Department of Health & Children to the Irish Medicines Board, an information day will be held in Dublin on November 15.
