Point of Care Technologies has halted negotiations to buy private companies MonoGen and Somagen Diagnostics, but will continue to look for a "suitable merger candidate or other business opportunity". Point of Care had previously signed a letter of intent with each company. The Rockville, Maryland-based company says its immediate concern is to carry out the necessary steps to enable it to maintain its OTC Bulletin Board listing.
