US transmyocardial revascularisation company PLC Systems has appointed Mark Tauscher president, CEO and director. Previously, Mr Tauscher was executive vice-president of Quinton, a developer of cardiology products, medical devices and fitness equipment. William Dow, PLC's former president and CEO, resigned last July to take a similar position at US haemodialysis products and services company Aksys. He remains a director at PLC.
