Biosite validates protein markers for stroke

Biosite reports that it has validated the diagnostic use of six proteins as markers for stroke. The San Diego, California firm says it now plans to initiate the development of a quantitative stroke diagnostic that could be used to help diagnose stroke in acute care settings.
