Precision Vascular has begun shipping its Synchro line of neurovascular guidewires to key neurovascular centres in Europe and the US. The technology combines microfabrication techniques with advanced superelastic materials for the delivery of devices to treat conditions such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and strokes. The company, of West Valley City, Utah, plans to apply the microfabrication technology to additional guidewire and catheter-based designs.
