Executive Summary

Pre-implantation (PI) screening for aneuploidy may be carried out in the UK, subject to strict licensing and monitoring controls, the UK Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has said. The HFEA is considering licence applications from two in vitro fertilisation clinics - the Assisted Reproduction & Gynaecology Unit in London and the Centre for Assisted Reproduction at Nottingham's Park Hospital.
