Italy to map diagnostic imaging services

The Italian ministry of health has set up a national observatory of diagnostic imaging services, in a bid to assess the state of facilities in each of the regions and the quality and cost of the service. The government aims to provide each region with a picture of the situation, on which to base their technological innovation programme.
