Executive Summary
FlexSite Diagnostics is to launch KidneyScreen At Home, a self-test kit for microalbuminaria analysis in diagnosed diabetics. The kit allows for users to mail back the sample in a desiccated state, allowing for early detection of nephropathy, a condition emanating from diabetes, which is highly treatable in its early stages. The test is ordered over the Internet and the sample is mailed to FlexSite's laboratory for analysis. The product joins FlexSite's A1c At Home, a glycated haemoglobin test for longterm diabetes management.
