The European Commission has set up a working group to begin the review of its Decision on devices containing specified risk materials. But this will not hold up the publication of the current version of the Decision which introduces new EU requirements for medical devices containing animal tissues restricting manufacturers' options for complying with the Medical Devices Directive.
