Executive Summary
Schering's general manager of its Guatemalan subsidiary, Schering Guatemalteca, has been found murdered following a three-week abduction. Christoph Voigt, 48, who was married with two children and had been in the country since 1988, was kidnapped on May 7. His body was discovered in Guatemala City on June 1. According to the company, neither the kidnappers' identity nor motive for the abduction were revealed.
